Summary

To investigate the genetic susceptibility to anti-drug antibody formation. Specifically we aim to replicate our initial findings from the prospective PANTS cohort.

The PANTS cohort has been used to study the genetic susceptibility, impact, and management of immunogenicity to anti-TNF therapy. An initial GWAS study has demonstrated genome wide significance at 3 loci including the HLA class II region.

This study does not require patient recall. We may require some additional phenotype data from the case notes if this is not currently available.

Participation: 2324 volunteers contributed samples and data to this study.

Organisation: The study was organised by Consultant Gastroenterologist Dr Tariq Ahmed and the Royal Devon and Exeter NHS Foundation Trust.
